Description:
I have been teaching groups for several years now and I really enjoy it. It is rewarding in many ways: I love to see my students progress, I love the excitement about art that we share in the classes - and I love that it keeps me on my toes with my own work (because I need to observe where the students work needs improvement a n d I have to be able to explain and show how)!

Over the years the courses have turned into ongoing classes rather than set repetitive courses with fixed terms. This means you can join at any time and continue your training as long as you wish.

All aspects of the subject, exercises, the practice of various techniques and use of materials are repeated periodically.

You can be of any ability or level (or age) in sculpture, drawing or painting and you will be individually cared for while working in the group. I have total beginners - advanced students, and even a couple of professional artists in the class.

I naturally teach my classes on a professional level, comparable to any art school or university, rather than a general interest class without zest and dedication.

The fact that I studied both, painting and sculpture results in the fact that I hope to have an all-round understanding of these subjects and how they are related.

My interest in essential theory and history of art has contributed in giving me a basis, I hope, to equally enrich my teaching and represent a background on which to bring the practical side of art alive for you, traditional and modern approaches alike.
  • We practise all aspects of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture
  • Specific exercises are designed to strengthen and clarify respective subjects of the day or longer term projects
  • Subjects are chosen to match the materials explored - or vice versa
